Government Tactical Solutions (GovTact), a national security firm, has been named a Veteran Owned Business of the Year finalist by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce for its annual Distinguished Service Awards.
Founded in 2011 by Marine Corps veteran Paul Sanchez, GovTact has grown to more than 120 employees across 13 states. GovTact is a finalist in the Established Business (more than 10 years) category. This is the second year in a row GovTact has been named a finalist for these awards.
“It is a privilege to be recognized among other veteran-owned businesses,” said Sanchez. “GovTact is proud to provide veterans a great place to work and grow their careers. Our veteran team members are critical to our success as an organization, and we are honored to have each of them as part of the GovTact team.”
In the last year, GovTact has also been recognized by Inc., the Washington Business Journal, Washington Technology, NVTC, and the Department of Labor’s HIRE Vets Medallion Award. GovTact is also a Virginia Values Veterans certified company.
