Civil Design Engineer

Hybrid Remote/Monrovia, CA

​Job Description:

Location: Monrovia, CA. This person will work remote, but they will need to be local or open to relocating to Monrovia and be able to go onsite as needed.

Work Schedule: Flexible. Can work typical M-F 8-hour shift (6am-2pm, 7-3pm etc) or 4/10 or 9/80 schedule.

Clearance: US Citizen with clear background as they will have to get a Public Trust with NASA/JPL.

Required Certification: Professional Engineering (PE) License is required.

LCAT Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and anywhere from 5-8 years of experience.

Key Skills:

  • They will be working supporting the NASA antenna and ground facilities.
  • This is a design role not an implementation role.
  • Design layouts for buildings and structures aka roads, pipelines. Knowledge of pipelines, water source systems, underground fuel source tanks, septic systems etc.
  • Knowledge of AutoCad
  • They have a drafting team onboard so they can take whatever “back of the napkin” sketch the CDE has and be able be to put it as an AutoCAD drawing for them.
